Fire Service and Remedial Engineer – River Thames

Key Purpose of the Job:

Servicing and maintaining fire alarm and lifesaving systems in accordance with the current standards.

Key Job Responsibilities:

Servicing and maintaining various fire alarm, AOV and other life systems.
Working towards and exceeding maintenance and fault-finding targets.
Demonstrate systems for customers and explain details such as the causes and consequences of false alarms.
Be part of an On Call Rota for out of hours callouts and telephone support.
Understanding the clients’ needs and fulfilling all jobs required
Any other reasonable requests from management
The post holder will ensure the health, safety, and welfare of themselves and their team in accordance with the Company Policy

Essential requirements:

An ideal candidate will have the ability to demonstrate working knowledge of various fire alarm panels such as Gent, Morley, C-Tec, Advanced, Zerio Plus, Kentec and Haes.
Must have experience on servicing Gent systems.
Experience on AOV and suppression systems preferred but full training will be provided.
3+ years background and experience of working of undertaking service, repair work within security industry
With issues on a fire alarm, you must have the ability to fault-find, repair or provide accurate information for the estimator to quote the customer.
Applicants must have a full UK driving license
Checkable work history and suitable references.
Excellent communication skills.
Excellent customer service skills.
