Automatic Gates & Barriers

Automatic gates and barriers are devices used to restrict vehicle access into specific areas to authorised vehicles only.

Authorised persons can be granted access to the site using a fob or key card, or via an intercom. Alternatively, automatic number plate recognition (ANPR) technology can be installed to provide contactless access.

Automatic gates and barriers are commonly installed in parking lots as they protect against vehicular theft, prevent tailgating and deter anti-social behaviour. Automatic gates and barriers can easily be integrated with other security systems such as CCTV cameras or a manned guarding function to further improve the overall security of the site.
